I am learning to  write a narrative. This is my narrative planner. I found this a little tricky because it was hard to think of something to write about and I didnt know what kind of story I was going for.

I am learning to write a story by looking at a picture. We had to make our own story about how a car got stuck in a tree. I chose to do it about spongebob because he is a really bad driver. This was easy because that was the first thing that came to my mind.

This is my math. I was learning how to add fractions. I found this easy because I used my times table to do fractions it made it a lot easier.

Walt add and subtract decimals. I found this easy because I split the whole numbers with the decimal numbers then added that together but I also found it a bit tricky on some of the questions.

I feel surprised of how many threats there are to native species it is really bad because we don't want them to go extinct.

This is an example of my writing. I found this fun because once I got the hang it started to get easier. At the beginning I found it trick to think of stuff and how i'm was going to write it but then it was getting fun to do. This was because I started asking for help. Next time I will check the chart of how to start the sentence and see how to write it.

This is my Weekly basic facts chart every week we have homework and we must practice our basic facts and at the end of the week on Friday we have our basic facts test.

I'm in Year 6 !!!!!

My new classroom 19 is awesome. My brother was in Mrs Graham's class and he said it was so much fun so I am looking forward to this year.   My teachers are Mrs Howard and Mrs Graham. By the way my teachers are Educational Rock stars!! We have done so much in the first week.

 We got to choose what monitor we wanted and I'm a wet day monitor in Room 28. It's been so much fun already and it's only been the first week.

I don't have my friends from last year in my class but they're next door so that's good. I have some friends in my class. The funny thing about my class is there are two Taylors/Taylas in my class so it is confusing.

Year 6 is going to be AWESOME!!!!
